Details:

At 1:00 a group of friends will begin a 6.8 mile bicycle trip from The Mocha Moose in Larsmont to The Lighthouse Restaurant on Homestead Road. We will have a pit stop there, then head back TO DA MOOSE for food, a Live Band (UPRISING!!), and the Awards Ceremony for the below prizes:

1. 1st Place  You get nothing...this isn't a race remember?  :)

2. Youngest participant.

3. Oldest participant.

4. Oldest bicycle.

5. Most unique bicycle.

6. Best costume.

7. Best group theme.

8. Last person to cross the finish line

Rules:

1. No spandex unless required by a physician.

2. No complaining.

3. No sweating (multiple stops along the way will help)

Pack a cooler and bring  lawn chairs

Are there water stations? Nope

Please note that this event is not sponsored by anyone, just a group of friends taking an

opportunity to poke a little fun at those who take things way too serious. The route will

be along active highways and will require personal responsibility. Some individuals and

business have volunteered their time and facilities but have no connection to Tour Da Moose.

So: Go dig out that stingray bicycle with the banana seat and ape hanger handle bars

and join us in our effort to put Larsmont, Knife River and Palmer Place back on the map.
